Product overview

The Smart IP43 range uses a multi-stage adaptive charging algorithm. After bulk charging it enters absorption and monitors battery acceptance current, then transitions to float once current drops below a set threshold. Battery type presets cover AGM, gel, lithium (LiFePO4) and flooded lead-acid, and custom profiles can be programmed for other chemistries. Temperature-compensated charging is available with an optional battery temperature sensor.

VictronConnect gives access to charge settings, real-time status and historical data without extra hardware. The wide AC input range means one unit serves UK and EU installations without modification. The IP43 rating suits plant rooms, battery enclosures and light-industrial spaces with some dust or moisture exposure, but it is not rated for outdoor or fully wet locations.
