Product overview

A microprocessor-controlled adaptive algorithm adjusts the charge parameters based on how the battery behaves during the cycle rather than applying a fixed profile. That matters in marine and vehicle use, where battery condition varies between service intervals. The three outputs let each battery bank, starter, service or auxiliary, be charged separately while the unit manages current distribution between them.

Bluetooth monitoring through VictronConnect shows charge status, voltage, current and temperature (with a sensor connected) from a phone or tablet, without a separate dongle. The IP43 rating suits engine rooms, battery compartments and other semi-protected spaces where some moisture is possible but direct water contact is not expected.

Installation notes

Install to BS 7671 wiring regulations with a qualified electrician. Protect the AC supply with a correctly rated circuit breaker and fuse each DC output at the battery. For marine installations, follow the relevant RCD and shore power connection requirements. Check the battery chemistry setting in VictronConnect before first use, especially for LiFePO4, since the wrong profile can damage the battery or shorten its life.
