Product overview

Running from a 48V bank, the Phoenix produces the pure sine waveform that motors, compressors and switched-mode power supplies need. Modified sine wave inverters can misbehave with these loads; this one avoids that problem.

The VE.Direct port ties it into a wider Victron setup. Connect a Cerbo GX and the inverter reports into VRM for logging and remote monitoring, or plug in a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle and configure it live through VictronConnect. The SCHUKO output means a single plugged load can be running from the battery bank without any hardwired AC board; other Phoenix variants offer a terminal block connection where that's needed.

Installation notes

Fitting should be done by someone familiar with DC battery systems and low-voltage AC wiring. Use properly rated DC cabling and fusing on the battery connection, and leave space around the unit for ventilation to avoid thermal shutdown. It is not grid-tied, so G98/G99 notification does not apply. A VE.Direct cable or Bluetooth Smart dongle is needed separately for system integration.
