The Victron MPPT Control is a remote display and control panel for Victron BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers. It connects through the VE.Direct port, giving installers a real-time view of charge status, battery voltage, solar input and load output without needing a phone or laptop.

VE.Direct connection

The panel talks to the charge controller over VE.Direct, Victron's serial protocol, so the data shown is read directly from the controller rather than through a network or cloud service. A VE.Direct cable is required to connect the panel and is not included in the box. Some MPPT models have only one VE.Direct port, which may already be in use, so check port availability before ordering.

Installation notes

Connect to the VE.Direct port on a compatible Victron MPPT charge controller using a separately purchased VE.Direct cable. Power down the charge controller before making or removing connections. Fitting within a solar PV system should be done by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited installer, and the panel should not be exposed to direct moisture outside of a suitable enclosure.
