Product Description

The Victron Outdoor LTE-M Wall-Mount Antenna extends the reach of Victron cellular monitoring equipment into locations where the internal antenna cannot hold a signal. Supplied with a 5 metre cable, it lets you fix the antenna to an exterior wall while the monitoring unit stays inside a building or enclosure.

Applications

Off-grid solar systems in areas with marginal LTE-M coverage benefit most, along with remote battery storage sites where the monitoring device sits inside a metal enclosure that blocks internal reception. It also suits marine or static installations that need a permanently mounted external antenna, or any setup where the monitoring unit is housed indoors with poor cellular signal.

Installation notes

Check that your Victron monitoring device has an external antenna port before fitting. Mount the antenna on an exterior wall, ideally with a clear line towards the nearest cell tower, and route the cable without sharp bends that could damage the coaxial core. Seal any wall penetrations against moisture. Fitting the connected equipment should be carried out by a qualified installer familiar with Victron systems.
