Product overview

The fully sealed housing suits engine bays, outbuildings and marine environments where an unrated charger would struggle. At 4A the charger suits batteries in the 14Ah to 100Ah range: motorcycles, small leisure vehicles, caravans and backup systems. Installation notes

Connect the DC output to the battery before the mains supply. The 230V AC input needs a CEE 7/16 to BS 1363 adaptor for UK sockets. Mount the charger somewhere ventilated and away from fuel sources on vehicles or marine craft. Basic charging needs no electrical qualification, but permanent wiring into a vehicle or vessel should go to a competent electrician or marine engineer.
