The Victron ANL fuse 400A/80V is a high-current DC protection fuse for battery systems, inverter installations and other high-amperage DC circuits. It comes in a pack of five, useful for installers who need spares across multiple systems or projects.

Applications

This fuse protects wiring and equipment from fault currents in inverter and battery bank installations. It suits Victron Multiplus and Quattro inverter/charger setups, off-grid and backup battery banks, DC distribution boards and busbars in marine or vehicle systems, and larger energy storage installations. It also works as a replacement fuse for existing ANL fuseholders already in service.

Installation notes

Fitting should be carried out by a qualified electrician or an installer familiar with high-current DC work. Check that the fuseholder is rated to match this fuse before fitting it, and isolate the battery bank fully before replacing a fuse. DC fault currents can be very high, and mishandling presents a real risk of arc flash or fire.
