Product Description
The Victron Inverter 24/375 is a pure sine wave inverter that converts 24V DC battery power into 230V AC. It suits off-grid installations, marine and vehicle applications, and any setup where a modest AC load needs to run from a 24V battery bank. A VE.Direct port lets it talk directly to compatible Victron monitoring gear.
Key features of this victron inverter
- Output, 375VA continuous at 230V AC from a 24V DC battery bank.
- Waveform, pure sine wave, suited to sensitive electronics and motor loads.
- Communication, VE.Direct port for connection to Victron monitoring equipment such as the Color Control GX or MPPT displays.
- Socket, UK plug and socket configuration included as standard.
- Protection, low battery voltage shutdown, over-temperature and overload cutoff.
- Weight, 3.25 kg, suitable for confined spaces.
Product overview
The 24/375 sits at the entry level of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. At 375VA it is not intended for high-draw appliances, but it covers laptops, lighting circuits, small power tools and low-wattage domestic appliances. The pure sine wave output avoids the issues a modified sine wave inverter can cause with switch-mode power supplies or inductive loads.
The VE.Direct interface lets system integrators monitor and control the inverter through Victron's GX devices and the VictronConnect app over Bluetooth, using a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. It slots into a wider Victron system without a separate communications module. There is no built-in charger: this unit is a DC-to-AC converter only.
It is built for 24V nominal battery systems and operates within a defined input voltage window. If the battery voltage drops below the low-voltage threshold, the inverter shuts down automatically to protect the battery bank from deep discharge.
Applications
- Off-grid cabins and outbuildings running occasional AC loads from a small 24V bank.
- Marine installations needing a compact 230V AC supply from a 24V DC system.
- Campervans and motorhomes with 24V leisure battery setups.
- Telecoms and remote monitoring enclosures needing a low-power AC supply.
- Backup power for routers, lighting or small low-wattage appliances.
What's in the box
- Victron Inverter 24/375 230V VE.Direct (UK socket version)
Installation notes
Connect only to a 24V nominal DC battery system, with DC cable sizing and fusing matched to full-load current draw. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or a person competent with DC and AC electrical systems. The unit is not grid-connected and does not require G98 or G99 notification. Keep the area around it ventilated to avoid thermal shutdown under sustained load. The VE.Direct port is for monitoring and control only, it does not supply power to external devices.
