Specter is a solar powered wall light with a built-in PIR motion sensor, designed for outdoor security lighting without any wiring. It runs on rechargeable lithium batteries topped up by a mono-crystalline solar panel, and puts out 800 lumens from 6.8W of total power.

Operating modes

• Mode A, turns on automatically at dusk (below 30lux), stays at 20% brightness for up to 5 hours, then switches off
• Mode B, turns on at full 800lm brightness when motion is detected within 6 metres, dropping to 3% brightness after 20 seconds of no motion
• Mode C, turns on at full 800lm brightness on motion within 6 metres, then switches off after 30 seconds of no motion

Installation

Specter is cordless and entirely solar-powered, so there's no cabling to run. It fixes to any flat, sun-exposed wall with three screws, and the fitting is designed to withstand outdoor conditions in all weather.
