Aluminium middle clamp for fixing solar panels to U-shape aluminium rails and the Gaia mounting system. It suits panel frames of 30mm and 35mm thickness, and the symmetric design spreads clamping force evenly across two adjacent panels. Supplied per unit with a nut and Allen bolt.

Applications

Used where two solar panels sit side by side on U-shape rails, holding both frames down at the shared edge. Common on Gaia rail systems for rooftop and ground-mounted arrays.

Installation notes

Fit at least two middle clamps between each pair of adjacent panels. Torque to the value given in the mounting system's installation guide, and avoid overtightening as this can damage the panel frame.
