The Victron GX IO-Extender 150 adds extra digital inputs and relay outputs to compatible GX devices, for installations where the onboard GX I/O is already fully allocated. It connects directly to the GX device and is managed through the existing VenusOS interface, with no separate app or controller needed.

Product overview

GX devices such as the Cerbo GX have a fixed number of digital inputs and relay outputs. On larger or more complex systems these are used up quickly by generator control, tank monitoring, alarm outputs and switching. The GX IO-Extender 150 adds further I/O channels that appear within the same VenusOS environment, so the whole system stays managed from one place.

Because the extender works at firmware level rather than as a third-party add-on, its inputs and outputs sit in the same menus used for the native GX I/O. That matters on commercial, marine or off-grid installations that need several monitored inputs and controlled outputs from a single GX device.

Installation notes
