Product Description

LED 8W GU10 spot with high light output, a direct replacement for halogen reflector lamps.

This dimmable Ledon MR16 GU10 spot puts out a very high luminous flux, making it a strong stand-in for a high-intensity halogen reflector lamp. It replaces halogen lamps rated up to 75W while drawing just 8W.

  • Halogen replacement, replaces classic halogen lamps up to 75W at 8W power consumption
  • Beam angles, available in 35° and 60°
  • Luminous intensity, 1300 or 600 candelas, depending on beam angle
  • Base, standard GU10 twist-lock fitting
  • Dimming, dims smoothly from 0 to 100% brightness without flicker

Applications

Suited to living rooms, kitchens and retail spaces where a GU10 spot previously ran on halogen. The dimmable driver means it pairs with compatible dimmer switches, including trailing-edge dimmers such as the Varilight V-Pro shown in the manufacturer's demonstration video with multiple Ledon GU10 spots on one circuit.

Dimming compatibility

Because the lamp dims from 0 to 100% without flicker, it works well in rooms with several spots on the same dimmer channel, giving even control across the fitting.
