Product Description

The Kraus & Naimer KG-Series single string DC switch disconnector isolates a single solar PV string in a compact IP66/67 enclosure. It covers 250VDC to 1000VDC with current ratings from 25A to 50A, and is built in Germany to Class II insulation standards.

Applications

This dc isolator switch is used for single string DC isolation in residential and commercial solar PV systems. It gives installers a safe way to disconnect an individual PV string for maintenance work.

Installation and safety notes

DC solar circuits carry dangerous voltages. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Choose the voltage rating to match the maximum open circuit voltage of the connected string. Never operate the switch under load.
