The Conversol Max-II 8kW is an off grid inverter charger with dual MPPT solar input and time-controlled charging. It delivers 8kW continuous output with 16kVA surge capacity, pairing a pure sine wave inverter with a solar and AC charger in one unit for off-grid and backup power systems.

Product overview

The Max-II builds on the Conversol off-grid platform with programmable time-charging added. The dual MPPT charger operates between 90V and 450VDC, with an open circuit limit of 500VDC, covering a wide range of PV string arrangements.

The 150A MPPT charging current suits large battery banks where fast solar charging matters. Paralleling up to 6 units lets the platform scale to larger off-grid requirements.

Applications

Suited to off-grid homes, commercial and industrial energy storage, backup power systems with grid or generator input, agricultural and rural off-grid installations, and systems needing programmable charge scheduling.

Installation and safety notes

Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited solar installer. Correct DC cable sizing, fusing and battery isolators are mandatory at 48V high-current levels. Time-charging functions must be configured correctly to avoid unintended battery overcharge. Read the installation manual in full before commissioning.
