How it charges

The seven-stage adaptive algorithm adjusts to the battery's condition. A deeply discharged battery starts with a soft-start recondition phase, moves through bulk and absorption, then settles into float and long-term storage mode. Left on charge, it maintains the battery rather than overcharging it, which a fixed-stage charger cannot do reliably.

The VictronConnect app shows charge state, voltage, current and the selected battery profile, and lets you switch profiles or build a custom charge curve. Useful when commissioning a system or working out why a battery isn't taking charge as expected.

Applications

Suited to charging and maintaining 24V lead-acid or LiFePO4 banks in off-grid and backup power setups, workshop charging of 24V vehicle and plant batteries, marine use in enclosed battery compartments, motorhome storage charging, and system commissioning.
