Case Study for Topaz Super Yacht

Topaz is one of the largest and most expensive super yachts. Designed by British designer Tim Heywood, the stunning yacht is worth £400 million ($527million) making it the 6th most expensive yacht in the world.

Voltacon's impressive reputation in the marine and shipping industry has led to Voltacon LEDs being chosen to light up the luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms, and dining areas on this impressive super-yacht.

Engineers selected the DALI controlled LED lights for two reasons:

Voltacon LED lights are well established for lighting up the marine and shipping industry.
Compatibility of the LEDs with the existing DALI system.

The lights on the super-yacht are digitally dimmable, helping to create a wonderful atmosphere that is also energy efficient and meets the current standards of the lighting industry.

Voltacon delivered the lights to the exact specifications of the engineers of this impressive yacht. We selected a warm white colour temperature with ultra bright LED chips specifically selected at 2700k to create a cosy ambience. This colour temperature is perfect for a hospitality setting as it is gentle on the human eye and creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Lighting on a super-yacht like Topaz requires a diverse range of lighting to create the biggest impact.
