Marseille Provence in France Installs Ledison LED Lights
Direct Retrofit of LED PL-2G11 Lamps in Tunnels.
Our LED Lighting Journey continuous this month to Marseille. The traffic agency Métropole Aix-Marseille Provence selected Ledison's direct replacement LED Lamps with dimmable function.
The fluorescent light fittings are installed on the sidewall of the tunnel in the Frence motorway. It would have been a difficult, time consuming and quite expensive operation to remove the old equipment.
The engineering teams of Voltacon, offered a DALI LED PL2G11 lamps that is fully compatible with the existing digital dimming system.
One of the requirements of the motorway-agency was to re-use the fluorescent luminaires and more importanly the sophisticated DALI system. Causing the minimum distruption in the tunnel, the LED kit from Ledison was finally a cost-effective solution, easy to install and enviromentally friendly.
