Marseille Provence in France Installs Ledison LED Lights

Métropole Aix-Marseille Provence, the traffic agency responsible for a French motorway tunnel, installed Ledison's direct replacement LED PL-2G11 lamps in the fluorescent fittings mounted on the tunnel sidewalls.

Removing the existing fittings would have been difficult, slow and expensive. The agency wanted to keep both the fluorescent luminaires and the DALI digital dimming system already in place. Voltacon's engineering team supplied a DALI-compatible LED PL2G11 lamp designed to work directly with that existing dimming system, avoiding any rework of the tunnel wiring or controls.

The result was a direct retrofit with minimal disruption to tunnel operation, using a lamp Voltacon and Ledison describe as cost-effective, easy to install and environmentally friendly.
