Off-Grid Solar Power for Spanish Holiday Property

Voltacon supplied and installed an off-grid solar power system for a holiday property in Spain with no connection to the public power network. The only sources of energy on site are the solar array and the battery storage.

The solar panels are mounted on Voltacon's easy-plan triangle mounting system, available to buy online. Power conversion is handled by a Conversol 5kW unit, a 48V battery-based inverter with an integrated MPPT charger.

Energy storage is provided by OPzS batteries supplied by Hoppecke, storing 15kWh with a life expectancy of 25 years.
