Product Description
The Solis S6-EH3P100K10-NV-YD-H is a 100kW three phase high voltage hybrid solar inverter built for commercial and industrial energy storage. One unit manages up to 200kW of solar, two high voltage battery banks, the grid supply and a standby generator, giving installers a single point of control for sites that need to cut peak demand and keep running through a power cut.
Three phase hybrid solar inverter for commercial storage
- PV input: up to 200kW recommended array, maximum input voltage 1000V, MPPT range 150V to 950V across 10 trackers and 20 strings, up to 42A per input.
- Battery: two independent high voltage ports for 300V to 950V lithium batteries, each charging and discharging at up to 100A, giving 200A combined, connected via CAN.
- Backup switching: under 10ms transfer to backup on a single unit, delivering 160% of rated power for 10 seconds and 200% for 200 milliseconds to help start motors and pumps.
- Grid output: rated 100kW at 3/N/PE 230V/400V, 50Hz or 60Hz, power factor above 0.99 and THDi below 3%.
- Parallel operation: multiple units combine up to 1.25MW, with a Solis STS cabinet recommended above 6 inverters and switchover under 20ms. Each phase should carry no more than 33% of rated power.
- Enclosure: IP66 rated with intelligent redundant fan cooling, for -25°C to +60°C operation up to 3000m altitude.
Applications
Suited to warehouses, manufacturing units, agricultural buildings and commercial premises with strong daytime demand, where the inverter handles demand reduction, export limiting and backup for critical loads. Both DC and AC coupling are supported, along with AI integration and virtual power plant readiness for dynamic tariff optimisation.
Monitoring and connections
Setup and commissioning run through a 7 inch LCD display, Bluetooth and the Solis app. Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth are built in, with 4G available as an option. The inverter provides two CAN-BMS ports, two CAN parallel ports, RS485 for the meter, a further RS485 port, DRM, five digital inputs and four digital outputs. This version ships with a CT or meter included.
Installation notes
This is a high voltage battery inverter for 300V to 950V lithium systems only, not for 48V battery banks. Solis lists G99 among planned grid connection standards for this range, so confirm certification status before specifying it for a UK grid connection. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a qualified installer with correct DC fusing, AC protection, surge protection and earthing. The unit weighs 170kg and measures 1174 x 814 x 400mm.
