How it works

When AC input is present, the transfer switch connects loads directly to that source while the charger runs. If AC input is lost, the inverter takes over within milliseconds so connected loads stay powered. The adaptive charge algorithm adjusts its curve to battery condition, which helps in systems where charge time and battery state vary. PowerAssist lets a limited generator or shore supply handle loads that would otherwise trip the breaker, by drawing the shortfall from the battery.

Scalability

VE.Bus connectivity allows several MultiPlus units to be linked for higher inverter capacity, or configured for split-phase or three-phase output, all managed as one installation. Pairing with a Victron GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, adds monitoring, data logging and remote access through the VRM portal.
