Pylontech Fidus PRO 16kWh LiFePO4 Solar Battery IP65 | FB-L-16-Pro

The Pylontech Fidus PRO 16kWh is a low-voltage LiFePO4 battery for residential solar, hybrid and off-grid systems. It stores 16.076kWh of usable energy in a single unit, cutting down the number of modules needed for a large domestic lithium-ion battery storage setup. It runs at a nominal 51.2V and uses 314Ah cells with built-in heating and fire protection.

Lithium-ion battery storage in a single high-capacity unit

Housing 16.076kWh in one battery suits larger homes, heat pumps, EV charging and properties with high overnight consumption. The battery supports 100% Depth of Discharge, with a default minimum State of Charge of 5% that can be adjusted to suit the installation.

Built-in heating for cold climates

An integrated low-temperature heating system warms the cells above 0°C when needed so charging can resume, with the heating function available down to -20°C ambient. This suits garages, outbuildings and exposed plant areas through UK winters. Heating behaviour accounts for battery temperature, State of Charge and charge/discharge status, and can be configured from the display or the Pylontech app.

Indoor or outdoor installation

The IP65 enclosure and C5-M rating allow indoor or outdoor placement, floor standing or wall mounted, in 5% to 95% relative humidity without condensation and at altitudes up to 4,000 metres. Outdoor sites still need protection from direct sunlight and must meet Pylontech's requirements for coastal locations.

Inverter compatibility

The Fidus PRO uses the widely adopted 51.2V low-voltage architecture with CAN and RS485 interfaces, allowing integration with a wide range of compatible hybrid and off-grid solar inverters. Check compatibility with your specific inverter model before installation.
