Genuine Amphenol solar panel connectors rated IP67, made for 10mm² PV cable. Supplied as a pair, one male coupler and one female coupler, with crimps included for making up connections on site.

These are the original blue Amphenol connectors and are not suitable for 4mm² or 6mm² cable. Use only with 10mm² solar PV cable to get a proper crimp fit.

Applications

Used for building or extending 10mm² PV cable runs between panels, combiner boxes and inverters, wherever a weatherproof outdoor connection is needed on a solar array.

Installation notes

Fitting the wrong cable size gives a poor crimp, which can arc and become a fire risk. Use a proper crimp tool so the contact fully engages, avoid overtightening or under-crimping, and check each connection visually before it goes into service.
