LED Lights illuminate Newly Boarded Loft - Access4lofts
Our contractor Access4lofts did the first step, they reinforced the floor in the loft and installed plywood boards perfectly cut to create a large surface area.
The sideways of the roof are not used for storage, due to the inclination it is hard to walk there, however, there is plenty of space and height in the middle of the roof.
The job was completed in 2 days but the loft will be unusable without proper lighting. So what did we? We found a lighting circuit from the ceiling, we installed a fireproof junction box to get a single power line that will feed our PIR motion-activated lights. To keep it simple we did not install any switches on the wall, the ladder is pulled down the motion will detect a presence and the lights will be switched on automatically
There are many options from a short 60cm, 10w slim batten to ultra bright 56W 150cm/5ft ones with three colour temperatures (all in one, adjustable between warm, natural and cool white).
