Ledison T8 LED Tube 60cm (2ft) 10W, up to 1100 Lumen Retrofit
The Ledison T8 LED tube 60cm is a direct retrofit replacement for 18W fluorescent tubes, producing up to 1100 lumens from just 10 watts. It fits straight into your existing 2ft G13 fitting, comes with an LED starter in the box, and cuts lighting energy use by up to 60% compared with the fluorescent tube and ballast it replaces.
Because the 120 degree beam directs all of its light downwards instead of losing a large share inside the fitting, the useful light on the surface below matches the fluorescent tube it replaces, without the flicker, slow warm up or gradual fading. It is also the sensible upgrade for early generation 2ft LED tubes that are now past their rated life and visibly dimmer.
Key Features

Product Overview
This 60cm (2ft) T8 LED tube uses branded Nichia, Honglitronic and CREE LED chips mounted on a printed circuit board with thermal vias, which carry heat away from the chips and into the anodised aluminium housing. Keeping the LEDs cool is what allows the tube to reach its full 50,000 hour service life, and it is why we support it with a 5 year warranty.
The internal driver accepts 100 to 265V AC, so light output stays stable even where the supply voltage fluctuates. Unlike a fluorescent tube, there is no starter flicker, no slow warm up and no degradation in cold conditions, which makes it well suited to unheated rooms, garages and storage areas.
All tubes are supplied with a frosted cover as standard. The frosted finish spreads light evenly along the tube and removes the dotted LED appearance, giving a cleaner result wherever the tube is visible. Clear covers are available on request, subject to stock.
Please note this tube is not dimmable. A dimmable T8 range is available separately if you need dimming control.

Installation and Safety Notes
On fittings with a conventional magnetic ballast and starter, installation is simple: isolate the power, remove the old starter, fit the supplied LED starter, and install the tube.
If your fitting has an electronic ballast, the ballast must be removed or bypassed and the tube connected directly to the mains supply. This modification involves rewiring the fitting and must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Always isolate the electrical supply before any work on the fitting, and ensure the installation complies with current wiring regulations.
This tube is designed for dry indoor locations. For damp or dusty environments, install it inside a suitable non-corrosive fitting. Ledison T8 tubes comply with EU and British standards for protection against electric shock.
