Unique features include an innovative aerodynamic design. Paired with perforated aluminium housing, this gives the Hyperion range a light, slim, wind-resistant profile. A smartly-designed convection air cooling system gives these LEDs a 60,000-plus hour life expectancy.

What’s more, the high colour rendering index and 150-lumen light output ensure all Hyperion street and motorway lights are approved for use where safety is a top concern, including large car parks and major roads. The 4,000K natural white LED can perform in even the toughest of conditions, including fog.

MODULAR STRUCTURE

The Ledison LED Street Lights are built with LED CREE modules that are connected in parallel to achieve different lumen output. Using the Nuventix heatsinks, the large surface of the extruded heatsink extracts more heat, that cooling technology raises the lumen output and extends the life of LED chips. In addition, a heat spreader conducts heat from the LEDs to the heat sink. 

Here we focus on the cooling solution of a luminaire which must exceed the lifetime of the LEDs by far so that it contributes positively to the overall lifetime of the luminaire via extension of the LED lifetime, and does not limit it further
