Mrs. Lidija Furman, plant engineer at GKN Driveline Slovenia, stated:

“The project of LED lighting in GKN Driveline Zrece is one of the most important projects of its kind, and one of those we are working a lot on. We are operating by the GKN energy policy and principles of ISO 50001, which we successfully implemented at the end of 2014. We are also trying to increase employee and management awareness of the importance of thinking ‘green’.

We started the project in 2013 and up to 2015 we have covered the whole plant with LED lightning in 3 steps. Of course, we have first tested the solution, which showed an average of 53 per cent better luminance and 60 per cent more savings in energy consumption.

Voltacon LED Lighting turned to be a very cooperative and flexible partner, with new ideas and technical support, and we are very satisfied with the cooperation with this supplier.”
