The Philips FL14S is a 14W LED flood light with a built-in passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, giving 1400lm of output while switching on only when movement is detected. It is a direct replacement for 50W to 70W halogen floodlights, using LED chips from Philips Lumileds.

Build and rating
The housing is aluminium with electrostatic paint and a rubber seal, and the fitting carries an IP65 rating for indoor and outdoor use. Voltage runs from 100 to 265V at 50/60Hz, with a power factor of 0.96 at 240VAC. Dimensions are 115 x 155 x 113mm and it weighs 670g.
Applications
Suited to security lighting around entrances, driveways and outbuildings where a halogen flood is being replaced, and where switching only on movement reduces running hours. The instant full brightness of LEDs, with no flicker and no warm-up time, suits security use better than halogen.
Colour temperature options
Available in warm white 3200K, natural white 4000K and cool white 5500K.
Certification and warranty
Certified to TUV, RoHS, CE and UL standards, with a 5 year warranty. Operating temperature range is minus 20°C to plus 40°C. The fitting is not dimmable.
